STAYING AT WINDERMERE HOUSE

The owners of Windermere House, Alun and Zelia Crockett, bring with them the many years of experience of running a busy hotel they owned in Oxford. They would like you to join them for a comfortable stay whilst you are in Looe and south-east Cornwall.

Windermere House is approximately 1.5 miles (2.5 km) from the town in the peace and quiet of the countryside. (CLICK for map and directions).

Included in the accommodation and tariff are double and twin ensuite rooms with colour televisions with Freeview and DVD players, tea making, radio alarms and breakfast. We also have a secure wireless network should you need to connect to the Internet.

Guests can relax in the conservatory or on the patio, where you can read a book, look at the view over the garden to the fields and on to the sea in the distance, or watch the Buzzards circle on the thermals hunting for prey.

Breakfast is served in the dining room, where on a clear day, the view across the garden to the sea can be admired.

Full English: 2 eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomato, baked beans and fried bread.
English Breakfast: 1 egg, bacon, tomatoes and fried bread.
Vegetarian Breakfast: (egg), tomato, beans, mushroom, hash browns, fried bread, vegi slice.
Fish: Smoked haddock or kipper as available.

Tea and coffee, toast and preserves. Herbal or Earl Grey teas available on request. Home produced honey. Fresh eggs.
